Patented Technology
The Cardiovascular Sclerosis Tester is equipped with the latest measurement technologies, including the Arterial Blood Wall Hardness Evaluation System, which is patented by the U.S. and Japan Patent Offices.
Non-invasive and fully automated measurements
The measurement process is non-invasive, fully automated, and short (90 seconds), making it easy for the whole family to use for rapid atherosclerosis screening.
Graphical Analysis Support
Graphical help to analyze the trend of AVI and API, blood pressure, high and low blood pressure, and pulse rate data, supports data storage for up to 4 users. Supports cloud storage of data records to prevent loss of important data. 4 sets of timer alarms to remind your loved ones to take cardiovascular stiffness and blood pressure measurements at regular intervals.
Arm tunnel design
Tunneled arm design allows for seated measurements, fully automatic 90-second detection, easy to use.
Measurement Principle
Arterial stiffness is strongly associated with serious cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, renal failure and stroke. As vascular stiffness has been shown to increase with age, it is of predictive value in predicting cardiovascular disease. More importantly, for people with three high blood pressure, sub-healthy individuals and those with family history of disease, PASESA has two important measures of cardiovascular stiffness, central arteriosclerosis (AVI) and upper arm arteriosclerosis (API), which have been shown to have a significant correlation with the prevention of cardiovascular disease in research studies, including a two-year study by the University of Tokyo, Japan (PASESA, 2010).Read Related Literature).

AVI Central Atherosclerosis Index
According to the characteristics of pulse waveform and reflected waveform phase change caused by central arteriosclerosis, the degree of central arteriosclerosis is estimated by waveform analysis, and the higher the degree of arteriosclerosis, the larger the AVI measurement value will be. Reflected wave to the arteries of the elderly earlier, young people are slow, (until the diastolic period to come back), the speed of the pulse wave affects the reflected wave back sooner or later; blood vessel stiffness itself, the softer the decline is slower, on the contrary, the more stiff the decline is faster, so the stiffer the blood vessel is, the bigger the index is, and the softer the blood vessel is, the smaller the index is.
API Upper Arm Atherosclerosis Index
According to the relationship between cuff pressure and arterial volume, the volume of a flexible artery changes dramatically with changes in cuff pressure when the wall is under low load (cuff pressure is close to the mean arterial pressure), whereas a stiffer artery shows the opposite characteristic. Principle: API is a curve in which the arterial volume of the soft vessels changes sharply as the cuff pressure decreases, while the volume of the hardened vessels changes slowly, and the degree of inclination of this curve can be quantified. Higher values indicate a higher risk of arteriosclerosis in the upper arm. Specifically, the cuff pressure-arterial volume relationship was derived from the cuff pressure data, and the coefficient "B" was obtained using the inverse tangent function A * arctan(B * X + C) + D to fit the curve. Define API as API=1/B.
CSBP Central Artery Blood Pressure
The results of two major cardiovascular trials, the ASCOT (CAFE) study and the NIH-funded Strong Heart sub-study, presented at the American Heart Association's 2005 Scientific Sessions, established the importance of central artery pressure in assessing cardiovascular risk and in the clinical aspects of drug therapy. The importance of central artery pressure in the assessment of cardiovascular risk and the clinical aspects of drug therapy was confirmed by the results of the Strong Heart sub-study, funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), which demonstrated that central artery blood pressure is superior to cuff blood pressure.

CAPP Central Artery Pulse Differential Pressure
The difference between systolic and diastolic central artery pressure is a predictor of the risk of cerebral hemorrhage and a good indicator of vascular sclerosis in middle-aged and elderly people. Elevated pulse pressure is a marker of atherosclerosis and a high risk of cardiovascular disease. An increase in pulse pressure is associated with a significantly higher risk of cardiovascular disease. Safe range: 20-60. Aggressive and effective therapeutic measures should be taken to reduce pulse pressure while lowering systolic and diastolic pressures.
Why should I check my cardiovascular health regularly?
Prevention of Dangerous Diseases
People with three high blood pressure, sub-healthy people and people with family genetic diseases can monitor their cardiovascular hardness early to prevent stroke and heart disease.
Drug Efficacy Evaluation
People who have suffered from critical illnesses such as stroke and heart disease can use PASESA to monitor the efficacy of medication and the progress of recovery, greatly reducing the chance of recurrence.
Clinic Screening
PASESA is also widely used in clinics and medical centers for rapid screening of high-risk patients for immediate detection of abnormal cardiovascular conditions.

Provides upload to the cloud
Establishment of electronic patient files
It allows doctors to monitor patients' daily data and medication recovery process from the cloud in a timely manner, and establishes a big data network of medical institutions, which can realize greater commercial value.
